Just Now series is the temporary adaptation of On Kawara's Today series to the contemporary context. This work wants to expose the sociocultural phenomena produced by the new media in a millennial global society. I posted the current date and time on my Facebook profile for one year every hour. I appropriated On Kawara's action through painting to register existence. Then, the action is redefined when it is not the newspaper news that causes days with eventual power, but rather Facebook news posts that produce live with the eventual condition. We mark our existence by publishing texts, videos, or photos. We are constantly yelling: "I'm alive!" We create the audiovisual that other people consume, our intimacy becomes a show, and it can become media. I used Facebook's stories feature, referring to the boom in live streaming and the fetish for immediacy. When I could not post on social media because my phone's battery died or I had no Wi-Fi, that specific moment in time and space never existed. Like On Kawara when he denied the existence of a day by destroying his paintings if he couldn't finish them on time. The hours I could not post did not exist because: I was not alive.

Este trabajo quiere exponer los fenómenos socioculturales producidos por los nuevos medios en una «sociedad glocal millennial». Publiqué en mi perfil de Facebook durante un año la fecha cada hora, junto con la hora de publicación. Me apropié de la acción y pintura de On Kawara para registrar la existencia. La acción se redefine cuando no son las noticias del periódico las que originan días con «poder eventual», sino que las publicaciones de noticias de Facebook son las que producen la existencia con «condición eventual». «Marcamos nuestra existencia» mediante la publicación de textos, videos o fotos. Estamos constantemente gritando «¡estoy vivo!». Creamos el audiovisual que otras personas consumen, nuestra intimidad se convierte en espectáculo, y puede llegar a ser mediático. Utilicé la función de historias de Facebook, refiriéndome al boom de la transmisión en vivo y el fetiche por la inmediatez. Cuando la batería de mi teléfono se agotaba o no tenía conexión Wi-Fi disponible, no podía publicar y, por lo tanto, ese momento nunca existió. Como On Kawara cuando negó la existencia del día destruyendo sus pinturas si no podía terminarlas a tiempo. Las horas que no pude publicar no existieron, no estaba vivo.
